- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the bacon in the skillet until crispy.
- Remove the bacon and set aside.
- In the same skillet, place one half of a glazed donut cut-side up.
- Layer two slices of cheddar cheese on the donut half, followed by two slices of bacon.
- Top with another donut half, cut-side down.
- Cook until the bottom donut half is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle maple glaze over the top before serving.
Notes
Serve this Donut Grilled Cheese warm, right off the skillet. Slice into smaller pieces for a fun presentation; offer extra maple glaze on the side for dipping. It's best enjoyed fresh, as the donuts can become soggy when stored.
