  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the bacon in the skillet until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, place one half of a glazed donut cut-side up.
  5. Layer two slices of cheddar cheese on the donut half, followed by two slices of bacon.
  6. Top with another donut half, cut-side down.
  7. Cook until the bottom donut half is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  8. Drizzle maple glaze over the top before serving.

Notes

Serve this Donut Grilled Cheese warm, right off the skillet. Slice into smaller pieces for a fun presentation; offer extra maple glaze on the side for dipping. It's best enjoyed fresh, as the donuts can become soggy when stored.
