  • 1 length Strong rope or twine Cut into equal lengths for each jar.
  • 1 piece Wood plank or sturdy board This will be the base for your hanging jars.

  • 1 bag Potting soil Use suitable potting mix for your plants.
  • 3 pieces Plants or seeds of your choice Consider herbs like basil or small flowering plants.

Method

Assembly
  1. Start by preparing your wood plank; this will serve as the base for your hanging jars.
  2. Measure and mark where you want to place each jar on the plank; ensure they are evenly spaced.
  3. Use wood screws or hooks to secure the jars to the plank; make sure they are firmly attached.
  4. Cut your rope or twine into equal lengths, with two pieces needed for each jar.
  5. Tie a knot at one end of each piece of rope, then thread the rope through the top of each upside-down jar.
  6. Once all jars are secured, tie the other end of the rope to the wood plank.
  7. Flip the wood plank upright and hang it on the wall or a secure area.
  8. Fill each jar with potting soil and plant your seeds or small plants.
  9. Water the plants according to their needs and enjoy your new vertical garden.

Notes

Choose plants that do well in small spaces, like herbs or succulents. You can also paint or decorate jars to match your decor. Avoid overcrowding the jars.
