  • 2-3 small plastic containers or cups Used for creating the fountain's base.
  • as needed set craft paints (blue, green, and white) For decorating the fountain.
  • 1 piece clear plastic wrap To simulate the fake water effect.
  • as needed small handful small rocks or pebbles For decorating the fountain.
  • as needed piece craft glue or hot glue gun To secure parts together.
  • 1 pair scissors For cutting materials.
  • 1 small piece cardboard Can be used to create additional structure.
  • optional set LED lights For a glowing effect.

Method

Preparation
  1. Clean your plastic bottle thoroughly and remove any labels.
  2. Cut the bottle to the desired height for your fountain (around 6 to 12 inches).
Base Creation
  1. Take the small plastic containers or cups and glue them together to form a sturdy base.
  2. Ensure the base is stable enough to hold the fountain structure.
Painting
  1. Use craft paints to decorate your bottle and base.
  2. Paint the bottle blue and the base green to resemble water and grass.
  3. Add white paint splashes for a frothy water effect.
Assembly
  1. Cut a piece of clear plastic wrap to fit the top of the bottle for a simulated running water effect.
  2. Place it on top of the bottle and secure it with craft glue.
  3. Glue small rocks or pebbles around the base and on top of the bottle for a natural look.
  4. If using LEDs, place them under the rocks for a glowing effect.
Final Touches
  1. Allow all parts to dry completely. Once dry, your decorative mini fountain is complete!

Notes

Choose bottles of different shapes and sizes for more variety. Use non-toxic paints and glues for safety, especially near pets or children. Consider adding small artificial plants for added charm.
