Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Sprinkle the topping mixture over the batter.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil for up to three months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
