  • 1 piece Soft white cotton or polyester batting For shaping the cloud
  • 1 string LED fairy lights (preferably warm white) For illumination
  • 1 frame A sturdy lamp frame or wireframe To support the batting structure
  • 1 string Clear plastic or acrylic crystals (for raindrops) To simulate raindrops
  • 1 length Fishing line or thin wire To hang the crystals
  • 1 container Glue or a hot glue gun For attaching materials
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting materials
  • 1 can Optional: spray adhesive for added texture For fluffing the cloud shape

Method
 

Create the Cloud Shape
  1. Use the cotton or polyester batting to shape into a fluffy cloud.
  2. Attach the batting to the lamp frame using glue, layering it for a fuller appearance.
Add the Lights
  1. Carefully weave the LED fairy lights through the cloud shape, leaving the battery pack accessible.
  2. Ensure the lights are evenly distributed for a soft glow.
Prepare the Raindrops
  1. Cut lengths of fishing line or thin wire for the clear plastic or acrylic crystals.
  2. Attach the fishing line to each crystal to create a long drop effect.
Attach the Raindrops
  1. Securely attach the other end of the fishing line to the bottom of the cloud using glue or by wrapping it around the frame.
  2. Hang the crystals at varying lengths to achieve a natural rain effect.
Final Touches
  1. Optionally, use spray adhesive to fluff up the cloud shape for extra texture.
  2. Allow everything to dry completely before hanging the lamp.
