  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (white or raw)
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water Make sure the water is hot enough for dissolving.
For serving
  • 8 ounces milk (any milk is fine) You can use different types of milk.
  • optional: pure vanilla extract, caramel flavor, hot chocolate drink mix, powdered creamer Customize your coffee with different flavors.

Preparation
  1. Combine the coffee, sugar, and boiling water in a bowl. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Beat the mixture with a whisk or hand mixer until foamy and thick.
  3. Fill a glass three-quarters full with milk and ice.
  4. Spoon the whipped coffee on top and stir vigorously through the milk before enjoying.

Notes

Dalgona Coffee is best enjoyed fresh. It may lose its fluffy texture if stored. Use a hand mixer for faster results.
