  • 2-3 lbs beef chuck roast Choose a good quality chuck roast for best results.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth Low-sodium broth is preferred.
  • 4 tbsp butter For added richness.
  • 10-12 oz egg noodles Cooked separately according to package instructions.
  • Salt & pepper To taste.
  • Garnish: parsley cut in small pieces (optional) Adds a fresh touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Put your roast in your crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus on top.
  3. Add butter and beef broth.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4-5 hours.
Serving
  1. Once tender, slice the beef with forks.
  2. Prepare egg noodles separately.
  3. Combine noodles with beef and juices.
  4. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding chopped onions or garlic to the crockpot. Adjust seasonings to taste. For a thicker sauce, mix a cornstarch slurry to thicken the juices before serving.
