  • 4 cups diced potatoes Yukon Gold recommended for richer flavor
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet ranch or savory seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup crispy bacon pieces

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease the crockpot to prevent sticking.
  2. Spread the diced potatoes evenly across the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Place the cubed steak on top of the potatoes, distributing evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix and minced garlic over the layers.
  5. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the ingredients and drizzle the melted butter on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 3 to 7 hours, until the steak is tender and potatoes are soft.
  2. Gently stir the mixture to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crispy bacon pieces over the top.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook for a few more minutes until cheese melts completely.
