  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 0.5 cup Catalina dressing (or French dressing) You can substitute with French dressing.
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup crushed Doritos Plus extra for topping.
  • Optional: corn, black beans, jalapeños Feel free to customize based on preference.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Add ground beef to the crockpot and sprinkle taco seasoning over it.
  2. Pour in salsa and dressing, then stir well to combine.
  3. Cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, until the beef is fully cooked.
  4. If using, stir in corn or beans during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Spoon the mixture over a bed of lettuce.
  6. Top with cheese, tomatoes, and crushed Doritos.
  7. Serve warm with extra chips on top for a delightful crunch!

Notes

For a healthier option, lean ground turkey or chicken can replace ground beef. Customize toppings based on preference; add avocado or different cheese types. For extra heat, toss in jalapeños.
