Ingredients
  

For the sauce
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup This is the base of the creamy, rich sauce.
  • 2 cans chicken broth (15oz each) Adds depth and keeps the chicken moist.
  • 1 stick butter or margarine Creates a silky, flavorful liquid.
Main ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breasts (fresh or frozen) No need to thaw.
  • 1 package frozen egg noodles (24oz) Reames brand is recommended for best texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Layer the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour both cans of chicken broth and both cans of cream of chicken soup over the chicken.
  3. Place the stick of butter on top.
Cooking
  1. Set the crockpot to LOW and cook for 6 to 7 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the crockpot.
  3. Add the frozen egg noodles and stir, cooking for an additional 2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once the noodles are tender, serve the Crock Pot Chicken and Noodles in bowls and enjoy.

Notes

Don't skip the butter, stir the noodles regularly, always use low heat, season to taste, and consider adding a splash of heavy cream for extra creaminess.
