Ingredients
  

Churro Ingredients
  • 250 ml water
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g all-purpose flour
  • 3 g salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying
Coating Ingredients
  • 100 g sugar for coating
  • 5 g cinnamon for coating
Chocolate Sauce Ingredients
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 ml heavy cream

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pot, heat water, butter, salt, and sugar until boiling.
  2. Add flour all at once and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Let the dough cool slightly, then add eggs one by one and mix well.
Cooking
  1. Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
  2. Pipe the dough directly into hot oil.
  3. Fry until golden and crispy, turning them as needed.
  4. Toss the churros in a mix of cinnamon and sugar.
Making Chocolate Sauce
  1. For the chocolate sauce, heat the dark chocolate and heavy cream until smooth.
  2. Dip the churros in the chocolate sauce and enjoy!

Serve crispy homemade churros warm with a small bowl of chocolate sauce on the side for dipping. For extra flavor variations, consider adding vanilla extract or orange zest to the dough, or filling them with cream or custard.
