  • 9-10 oz Half a bag of Doritos chips, flavor of your choice
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese sticks

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Crush the Doritos in a bag until fine crumbs form.
  3. Set up a breading station: place the all-purpose flour in a bowl, the beaten egg in another, and the crushed Doritos in a third.
Breading
  1. Dip each mozzarella stick first in the flour, then the egg, and finally coat it in the Doritos crumbs.
  2. Place the coated sticks on a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 8-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  2. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, serve warm. If frying instead of baking, ensure the oil is hot enough. You can also freeze coated mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes before baking to help them hold their shape.
