  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs

Preparation
  1. In a shallow dish, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, if using.
  2. In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs until smooth.
  3. In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat each drumstick in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Dip the floured drumstick into the egg mixture, ensuring it is completely covered.
  6. Roll the drumstick in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to help them stick.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  3. Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Spray the drumsticks with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
  5. Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through until they are golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftover drumsticks can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, wrap each drumstick tightly in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer bag, where they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
