- In a third shallow dish, place the panko breadcrumbs.
- Coat each drumstick in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured drumstick into the egg mixture, ensuring it is completely covered.
- Roll the drumstick in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to help them stick.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the drumsticks in a single layer in the basket.
- Spray the drumsticks with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through until they are golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Leftover drumsticks can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. For longer storage, wrap each drumstick tightly in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer bag, where they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
