Ingredients
  

Cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Hotdogs and Dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter For brushing on top
  • 1 package hotdogs
  • 1 package puff pastry or biscuit dough Store-bought options are fine
Optional Toppings
  • to taste sliced jalapeños For a spicy kick
  • to taste sliced onions For added sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry or biscuit dough on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles large enough to wrap around each hotdog.
Assembling
  1. Place a hotdog on each piece of dough and sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  2. Wrap the dough around the hotdog and seal the edges.
  3. Brush the tops with melted butter.
Baking
  1. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
