Ingredients
  

Dough and Cheese
  • 1 lb Pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup Creamy ricotta

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Cut the rolled dough into rounds or rectangles.
  4. Place a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and a spoonful of ricotta on one half of each dough piece.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
  6. Place the calzones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

If you have leftover calzone pockets, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warm. You can also freeze them, ensuring they are well wrapped to avoid freezer burn.
