Main Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets Finely chopped for better texture
  • 1 cup shredded Colby cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz Velveeta cheese Cut into chunks
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 1/4 cups Panko breadcrumbs For extra crispiness
  • 1 egg For mixture binding
  • 1/2 cup flour For coating
  • 2 eggs For coating
  • Oil for frying Use enough for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Finely chop the broccoli into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the broccoli with shredded cheeses, Velveeta chunks, red pepper flakes, and some Panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls.
  4. Coat each ball in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  2. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Notes

Tips: Chop broccoli finely for better texture. Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying. Serve hot for best cheese melt.
