Ingredients

For the breading
  • 1 lb White fish fillets (like cod or tilapia) Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Flour Seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs Mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Oil spray For spraying the basket and fish

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs mixed with seasonings.
  3. Dip each fish piece first in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  3. Place the breaded fish bites in the basket in a single layer.
  4. Spray the tops lightly with oil.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and golden.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with a side of tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding panko bread crumbs. Season the flour and bread crumbs for added flavor, and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed. Add some cayenne pepper for a spicy twist.
