  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage Fresh cabbage is recommended for the best texture.
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced Use yellow or white onion for best flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the taste.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated Adds a nice zing to the dish.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Can be substituted with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Used for cooking and adds flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add the sliced onion, garlic, and ginger, cooking until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook for a few minutes until it starts to wilt.
  5. Add the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Best served hot. Can be served over rice or noodles for a filling meal. Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
