Ingredients
  

Pasta Ingredients
  • 200 g pasta Use types like penne or fusilli for better sauce adherence.
  • 1 can tuna (in water or oil) Drained before adding to the skillet.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with coconut milk for dairy-free.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Nutritional yeast can be used for dairy-free.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing the garlic.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley To add a pop of color when serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the drained tuna to the skillet and stir to combine.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce.
  6. Cook for a couple of minutes until everything is heated through.
Serving
  1. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

To store leftovers, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days. Reheat before serving. For extra flavor, consider adding lemon juice or zest or red pepper flakes for heat.
