  • 1 loaf loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  4. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  3. Cut into pieces, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm right out of the oven. Pairs wonderfully with a fresh salad or marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
