Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
- Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Cut into pieces, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm right out of the oven. Pairs wonderfully with a fresh salad or marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
