Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts (frozen or thawed) Both work!
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (about 10.5 oz)
  • 1.5 cans milk Use the empty soup can to measure.
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Store-bought or homemade.
  • 12 ounces pasta of choice (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1 cup sour cream Optional – for extra creaminess.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli For extra vegetables.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes For a bit of heat.
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions Add for extra flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the frozen chicken breasts directly into the crockpot.
  2. Pour over the cream of chicken soup and milk, then sprinkle in the ranch seasoning mix. Give it a gentle stir, cover, and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours (or HIGH for about 3 hours).
Cooking
  1. Once the chicken is tender, use two forks to shred it right in the slow cooker.
  2. Boil your pasta according to package instructions. Drain and add it to the crockpot.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese and watch it melt into gooey perfection.
  4. If you love rich, velvety sauces, stir in 1 cup of sour cream at the end for extra creaminess.
Serving
  1. Scoop into bowls and serve warm. Garnish with parsley, extra cheese, or crispy bacon if desired.

Notes

Tips for variations include using pre-cooked rotisserie chicken, going lighter with low-fat cheese, adding veggies, or creating a crispy topping by broiling with breadcrumbs.
