Preparation
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Toss fries with oil and salt, spread on a tray, and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway.
- Toss chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium-high and sear chicken for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through (75°C / 165°F). Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Stir in tomato paste and smoked paprika, and cook for a minute or two.
- Add chicken broth and cream. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan and coat well in the creamy sauce.
Serving
- Plate creamy chicken with crispy fries and sprinkle with parsley.
Notes
Add a splash of white wine for extra depth. Use smoked paprika for a richer, slightly smoky flavor.
