  • 6–8 ears corn, cut into thirds Fresh sweet corn is best for flavor.
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced Increase for more garlic flavor.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Can substitute with plant-based cream for vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Vegan alternative: nutritional yeast.
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or thyme Fresh herbs can be used for better flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional) Add for extra color and flavor.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Melt the butter in a big skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the corn to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until the corn is lightly golden.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and lower the heat to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, dried herbs, black pepper, and paprika if using.
  6. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the corn nicely.
  7. Serve hot, spooning the creamy sauce over each piece of corn.

Notes

Can be served as a side dish with grilled meats or burgers. For fun, serve corn on skewers or from the skillet. Offer napkins as it can be messy.
