  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cans chicken broth (15 oz each)
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 lb chicken breasts (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 package frozen egg noodles (24 oz)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Put the chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and the whole stick of butter into the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked, take it out and shred it into smaller pieces.
  3. Toss the shredded chicken back into the crockpot.
  4. Add the frozen egg noodles and cook for an additional 2 hours, stirring occasionally until the noodles are cooked through.

Notes

Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley. Pairs well with crusty bread or a simple green salad. For more flavor, consider adding garlic and onion powder. For extra veggies, try adding peas or carrots with the noodles. If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it cook a bit longer after adding the noodles.
