Ingredients
  

Pasta and Proteins
  • 8 oz fettuccine You can use any pasta of your choice.
  • 2 cups shredded slow-cooked chicken Can substitute with shrimp for a seafood version.
  • 4 slices bacon Cook until crispy before adding to the sauce.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese Use extra for garnish if desired.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 2 tbsp butter For sautéing the garlic.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  2. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken and crispy bacon.
Combining and Serving
  1. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with extra parmesan cheese or fresh parsley for garnish. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread. Allow leftovers to cool before storing in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Reheat with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce.
