  • 4 large bell peppers Choose different colors for a vibrant look.
  • 1 cup lump crab meat, drained
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped Frozen shrimp can be used; thaw and drain before chopping.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, and minced garlic until well combined.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the crab and shrimp mixture.
Cooking
  1. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  2. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the peppers are tender and the filling is hot.
  3. Serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the filling. Mixing some grated cheese into the stuffing can add richness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to three days.
