Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the potatoes, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
