Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 bags tater tots
  • 2 lbs ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • 2 cans cream of chicken (any flavor) You can use a plant-based substitute for vegetarian option.
  • 2 cans mixed veggies Frozen mixed veggies can be used instead.
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 bag desired cheese Consider different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cooking the ground beef in a skillet. Season with salt, pepper, or your favorite spices.
  2. Once the beef is cooked, add the cream of chicken and mixed veggies. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  3. In a large baking dish, layer the tater tots on the bottom.
  4. Spread the meat mixture over the tater tots.
  5. Sprinkle cheese generously over the meat layer.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up.
  7. Cover the dish and cook on low for 3 hours.

Notes

Serve hot, directly from the baking dish. Pairs well with a salad or crusty bread. For extra flavor, add hot sauce or a dollop of sour cream on top. For a crunchier topping, leave the tater tots exposed or try adding crushed chips before baking.
