  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
For the seasoning and topping
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the green beans and baby potatoes with the melted butter, ranch seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Spread the mixture out in a large baking dish or on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and fork-tender and the green beans are slightly crisp on the edges.
  2. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the crumbled cooked bacon over the top.
Serving
  1. Serve hot as a flavorful side dish for chicken, pork, or grilled meats.

Notes

This dish is customizable; add chopped onions, mushrooms, or a sprinkle of Parmesan for variety. It pairs beautifully with grilled chicken, BBQ ribs, or roast beef.
