  • 1 cup cottage cheese Use low-fat or full-fat based on preference.
  • 1 ripe banana mashed Ensure banana is very ripe for best flavor.
  • 1 1/4 cups oats Old-fashioned or rolled oats recommended.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips Substitute with dark or white chocolate chips if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and mashed banana until smooth.
  3. Stir in the oats and egg until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are set and lightly golden.
  2. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed warm or at room temperature. They can be served as is or with milk or yogurt.
