  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup clear school glue Recommended for a clear finish
  • Pressed flowers or faux petals Ensure they are dry for best results
  • Heart and flower silicone molds Use various shapes for different designs
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolor Optional for color enhancement
  • Fine glitter (optional) For added sparkle

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk together the cornstarch and water in a small saucepan until smooth.
  2. Place the saucepan over low heat and stir gently until the mixture becomes glossy and thick.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and blend in the clear school glue until it’s fully combined. Optionally, add a tiny drop of food coloring or a sprinkle of glitter.
  4. Arrange your pressed flowers inside the silicone molds and carefully spoon the warm mixture over them, smoothing the tops.
  5. Allow the creations to dry completely for 24 to 48 hours.
  6. Once dry, gently pop out the floral hearts and display them.

Notes

Store your floral hearts in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent discoloration. Consider using different silicone molds for variety.
