  • 4 ears fresh yellow corn Use fresh corn for the best flavor and texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.25 teaspoons kosher salt Divided
  • ½ cup butter, melted Divided
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust the spice levels according to your taste.

Preparation
  1. Cut the corn into 2-inch thick pieces. Toss the corn with olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  2. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cooking
  1. Add the corn to the air fryer and cook for about 15 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the corn is partially golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the remaining salt and melted butter with the remaining spices in a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the cooked corn to the butter mixture and toss well to coat.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can enjoy the corn for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it in the air fryer or microwave until heated through. For extra flavor, consider mixing in some grated parmesan cheese or fresh herbs after tossing the corn with the sauce.
