  • ½ cup Espresso or Strongly Brewed Coffee For a stronger taste, prefer espresso.
  • ½ piece Candy Cane, crushed finely Add more for extra peppermint flavor.
  • to taste Whipped Cream Use dairy or non-dairy whipped topping.
  • to taste Mini Candy Canes or extra Crushed Candy Canes For topping.

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and finely crushed candy cane.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat while stirring consistently until it is steamy and the candy cane is melted.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and pour in the espresso. Stir well until everything is mixed together.
