Preparation
  1. Start by cleaning the glass bottles with soap and water. Make sure they are completely dry.
  2. If using glass paint, shake the paint well before use. For glue-paint, mix colored glue with a bit of water if it's thick.
Painting
  1. Using a paintbrush, apply the paint or glue-paint to the bottle in any pattern you like. You can create swirls, dots, or stripes.
  2. Allow the first coat to dry completely before adding more paint to enhance the colors.
  3. If you want to add decorative items, do so while the paint is still wet, so they stick well.
Finalizing
  1. Once you’re happy with the design, let the bottles dry thoroughly. This may take a few hours or overnight.
  2. If you used paint, check the instructions for curing it. Some paints need to be baked to set.
