Preparation
- Spray a standard muffin tin generously with non-stick cooking spray.
- Melt the butter and mini marshmallows in a large pot over low heat until smooth.
- Stir in the Cocoa Krispies until well coated.
- Press a spoonful of the warm cereal mixture into each muffin cup, using a greased spoon to press a deep indentation into the center, forming a cup/nest shape.
- Let cool completely before removing from the tin.
- Pipe a small swirl of green decorating icing (to look like grass) into the bottom of each nest, then top with 3 pastel Cadbury Mini Eggs.
Notes
Store the nests in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay fresh for several days. For longer storage, refrigerate but note that the texture may change slightly.
