  • 2 cups flour All-purpose flour works best.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk Use whole milk for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 pieces eggs Ensure they are at room temperature.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure your ingredients are at room temperature and do not overmix the batter. You can experiment with adding nuts or chocolate chips for a fun twist.
