Beef Lasagna Ingredients
  • 250 g lasagna sheets
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 80 g onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 g tomato sauce
  • 200 g shredded mozzarella
  • 150 g ricotta or cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the onions and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper, and let it simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Assembly
  1. In a baking dish, layer lasagna sheets, meat sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella.
  2. Repeat the layers and finish with extra cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat sauce. Use fresh herbs for a fresher taste. Allow the lasagna to rest after baking to keep it from falling apart when serving.
