  • 2 cans cinnamon roll dough with icing (12.4 oz each)
  • 2 cans apple pie filling (21 oz each)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter for the pan To grease the baking dish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut each raw cinnamon roll in half to make two thin circles for every roll.
  3. Press half of the dough pieces into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form a base.
  4. Spread the apple pie filling over the dough evenly and sprinkle extra cinnamon on top.
  5. Cover the filling completely with the remaining flattened dough rounds.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  2. Drizzle the icing over the top while the pan is still hot, allowing it to sink in.
  3. Ensure the bottom layer of dough is pressed firmly together to prevent the fruit from leaking during baking.

Notes

To store leftovers, allow the Cinnamon Roll Apple Bake to cool completely. Cover it tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep it in the refrigerator.
