  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper sliced (any color)
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced chicken breast, cooking until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot.
  5. Drizzle with soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), stirring to combine.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve the stir-fry hot right out of the pan, over steamed rice or noodles for a hearty meal. Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for garnish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days, and reheat before serving.
