Ingredients
  

For the stir-fry
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced (any color)
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil.
  7. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve on a bed of rice or noodles. Fresh herbs like cilantro or green onions can be added for extra flavor. For more spice, consider adding red pepper flakes or ginger. Use low-sodium soy sauce if watching salt intake.
