Method
Marinate the Shrimp
- Add the shrimp to a large bowl along with the lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, onion powder, cumin, and salt. Stir well to coat the shrimp.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop.
Cook the Shrimp
- After an hour, remove the shrimp from the refrigerator. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the basket of an air fryer.
- Air fry at 400 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes until the shrimp are heated through.
Serve
- Remove the shrimp to a serving plate and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
Notes
To store leftovers, place the shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When reheating, do so gently to avoid overcooking.
