  • 1 pound medium cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to your heat preference.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro For garnish.
  • as needed pieces Lime wedges for serving

Method
 

Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to a large bowl along with the lime juice, olive oil, garlic, chili powder, onion powder, cumin, and salt. Stir well to coat the shrimp.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to develop.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. After an hour, remove the shrimp from the refrigerator. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the basket of an air fryer.
  2. Air fry at 400 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes until the shrimp are heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove the shrimp to a serving plate and sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
  2. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, place the shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When reheating, do so gently to avoid overcooking.
