Ingredients
  

For the Apple BBQ Wings
  • 500 g chicken wings
  • 120 g BBQ sauce
  • 80 g apple juice or puree
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
For the Mango Habanero Wings
  • 1 ripe mango (200 g)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
For the Orange Chicken Wings
  • 120 ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cornstarch for thickening
For the Lemon Pepper Wings
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Lemon zest

Method
 

Apple BBQ Wings
  1. Season the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake the wings for 35-40 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, apple juice, and honey.
  4. After baking, toss the wings in the sauce and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Mango Habanero Wings
  1. Blend the ripe mango, habanero pepper, and honey until smooth.
  2. In a saucepan, cook the sauce with butter for 5 minutes.
  3. Bake the seasoned wings at 200°C (400°F) for 40 minutes.
  4. Toss the wings in the mango habanero sauce.
Orange Chicken Wings
  1. In a pot, combine orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook until warm.
  2. Add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
  3. Bake the chicken wings at 200°C (400°F) for 40 minutes.
  4. Toss cooked wings in the orange sauce.
Lemon Pepper Wings
  1. Bake seasoned wings at 200°C (400°F) for 40 minutes.
  2. Toss the wings with melted butter, black pepper, lemon zest, and salt.

Notes

Serve these chicken wings hot, straight from the oven. They are best enjoyed with a side of celery and carrot sticks, along with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese. For extra crunch, broil the wings for 2-5 minutes after baking.
