  • 2 pieces sub rolls Choose your preferred type of sub rolls.
  • 2 pieces cooked chicken breasts, sliced Leftover chicken works well.
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded Use fresh lettuce for the best flavor.
  • 1 piece tomato, sliced Fresh tomato enhances taste.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup cheese, shredded (optional) Choose your favorite type of cheese.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the sub rolls in half lengthwise.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of each roll.
  3. Layer the sliced chicken evenly on the rolls.
  4. Add shredded lettuce and tomato slices on top of the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle cheese if desired.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Close the sandwiches and serve.

Notes

Serve chicken subs warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side of chips or a salad. Offer different sauces or dressings on the side for extra flavor. For best results, reheat the chicken separately before assembling leftovers.
