Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups shredded chicken Can use store-bought or rotisserie chicken
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil For sautéing
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Pastry
  • 4-6 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg for brushing Beaten
  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and lightly golden.
  3. Add shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat, let it cool slightly, then mix in mayonnaise.
Assembly
  1. Cut puff pastry sheets into equal squares.
  2. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each square.
  3. Fold into a square and seal edges tightly with a fork.
  4. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  5. Sprinkle white and black sesame seeds evenly on top.
Baking
  1. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18-22 minutes or until golden, puffed, and flaky.

Notes

Serve Chicken Puff warm, and consider pairing with dipping sauces like sweet chili sauce or ketchup. Ensure the pastry is fully thawed for best results.
