  • 8 ounces pasta Any type of pasta can be used.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken works well for convenience.
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled Cook until crispy.
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to experiment with other cheeses.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup ranch dressing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add cooked pasta and shredded chicken.
  4. In a bowl, mix ranch dressing, flour, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the ranch mixture over pasta and chicken, stirring to combine.
Cooking
  1. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  2. Heat until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately in bowls and sprinkle extra cheese on top if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, place in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave; add milk or extra ranch dressing to loosen if necessary. Consider adding fresh herbs or vegetables for extra flavor.
