Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
  • 1 16 oz bag frozen tater tots Don't thaw before using.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh or frozen.
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Optional.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Optional.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and seasonings. Stir until well coated and evenly blended.
  3. Transfer the creamy chicken-broccoli mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out into an even layer.
  4. Place the tater tots in a single, even layer over the top, ensuring they sit right on top to crisp beautifully.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbling along the edges and the tater tots are crisp and golden.
  6. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving. Add extra Parmesan or chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

For the best casserole, use rotisserie chicken for easier preparation, don’t thaw the tater tots for better crispness, and consider adding other veggies like peas or spinach for extra color. You can also use spicy Alfredo for a little heat.
