Method
Cooking Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 7-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and let it rest.
Cooking Pasta and Sauce
- While the chicken cooks, boil the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Slice the chicken and add it to the Alfredo sauce. Mix in the cooked fettuccine.
Serving
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, the sauce texture may change when thawed. You can also add vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra nutrition.
