Preparation
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Assembly and Baking
- Place garlic bread on a baking sheet. Top each slice with the sloppy joe mixture and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Best served hot right out of the oven. Can serve with a fresh salad or crispy fries. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. To reheat, bake in the oven until warm and cheese melts.
