Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken and place the cream cheese block on top. Add salsa or diced tomatoes if desired.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
Cooking
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and stir well to coat it in the creamy sauce.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and cover again until melted.
Serving
- Serve the creamy chicken in taco shells and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Use frozen chicken if needed (just adjust cooking time). Stir occasionally for even texture. Add a splash of broth if sauce is too thick. Serve immediately for best flavor. Variations include serving over rice, in wraps, or as a dip. Add jalapeños for extra heat or switch up the cheese for different flavors.
