Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara or pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, if using.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
- Serve warm with extra marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
These roll-ups are best served fresh out of the oven and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
